About the role
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly day nursery team.
The successful candidate will support the care, learning and development of children in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment. You will help provide engaging activities and experiences that support children's individual interests, development and wellbeing.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 2 Childcare qualification or above
- Has experience working with children in an early years/day nursery setting
- Has an understanding of Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
- Understands the principles of Foundation Learning and the Curriculum for Wales
- Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Is caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic
- Works well as part of a team
- Can build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Is committed to providing inclusive and high-quality early years experiences
ALN experience and knowledge of supporting individual children's needs would be highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.72-£15.00 per hour

- Aberavon SA12 7BX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
