Experienced Self-Employed Window & Door Fitter Required – Peterborough
Peterborough Doors is looking for an experienced self-employed window and door fitter to work with us on installations throughout Peterborough and the surrounding areas.
We are a local window and door company specialising in composite doors, uPVC windows and doors, French doors, patio doors and other residential installations.
The role
You will be carrying out installations at customers' homes to a high standard, including:
- uPVC windows and doors
- Composite doors
- French doors and patio doors
- Replacement glass and associated glazing work
- Finishing, sealing and making good
What we require
- Proven window and door fitting experience
- Own professional fitting tools – essential
- Ability to work independently and complete installations to a high standard
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Reliable and professional
- Full UK driving licence
- Own transport/van preferred
This is a self-employed/subcontractor position, with work available in Peterborough and the surrounding area.
We are looking for someone we can build a reliable ongoing working relationship with as the company continues to grow.
Rates of pay will be agreed based on the type of installation/work undertaken.
