Tiverton Adventure Playground (TAP) is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Playworkers to join our team for our busy summer holiday programme.
If you enjoy working with children, love being outdoors and are passionate about supporting children's right to freely chosen, self-directed play, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, positive and approachable.
- Reliable and able to work well as part of a team.
- Passionate about working with children and young people.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
- A good communicator who listens respectfully to children, young people and families.
- Calm, patient and adaptable.
Desirable (but not essential)
- A Level 2 Playwork qualification or a similar qualification.
- Experience of working with children and young people.
- First Aid, Food Hygiene or other relevant training.
Full training and support will be provided.

Applicants must be available for:
- Interviews: Wednesday 16 July (Timing is flexible to your needs)
- Mandatory training day: Wednesday 30 July
- Working hours: Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout the four weeks of August, 9:30am–4:30pm.
Safeguarding
Tiverton Adventure Playground is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. An Enhanced DBS certificate is desirable. Applicants who do not already hold one will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check before starting work.
