We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic kitchen assistant/relief cook to join our established team at our residential care home. The kitchen assistant/relief cook will play a key role in our kitchen staff team in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals to our residents.
Duties will include;
- Assisting with food preparation and cooking
- Serving meals to residents in a timely and respectful manner
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Following all food safety and food hygiene guidelines
- Assisting with stock control
- Providing support to other cook and other assistants as needed
The ideal person will have similar experience and hold a food hygiene certificate, however full training can be provided. The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of all relevant legislation as required by the Environmental Health Food safety.
