You've built your expertise in agriculture. Now it's time to share it. Whether your background is in livestock production, arable farming, crop management, agronomy, or wider agricultural operations, we are looking for passionate industry professionals to help shape the future of the sector. You may already be teaching, training or mentoring others. Equally, you might be an experienced agricultural professional who has never considered a career in education before.
At Bishop Burton, our students learn in a real agricultural environment, with access to commercial farming operations, industry-standard facilities and strong employer partnerships. This enables us to deliver practical, relevant education that prepares learners for successful careers in agriculture. If you’re new to teaching, we’ll support you to gain a recognised teaching qualification while you develop your teaching career with us. That's why we're keen to hear from professionals currently working in the agricultural sector who want to make the move into education. If you don't already hold a teaching qualification, we'll support you to gain one alongside your role, providing the training, guidance and development you need to become a confident and successful lecturer.

Industry experience in livestock production, crop production, agronomy or a related agricultural field
A relevant qualification or equivalent professional expertise
