As Commercial Executive, you will support the Commercial team in delivering sustainable business growth by strengthening customer relationships, supporting account development and helping execute commercial initiatives across the business. The role combines customer-facing support, commercial administration, insight gathering, reporting and cross-functional coordination to ensure customers receive an excellent service and the business delivers against its commercial objectives.
You will play an important role in identifying new business opportunities, preparing customer proposals, supporting tenders and presentations, monitoring market activity and providing clear commercial information to help the team make well-informed decisions.

- Support the Commercial team with day-to-day customer account activity, ensuring actions, queries and follow-ups are managed professionally and on time.
- Assist with preparation of customer proposals, tender responses, quotations, presentations and supporting documentation.
- Help maintain accurate customer, pricing, product and promotional information for internal and external use.
- Build positive working relationships with customers, acting as a reliable point of support where required.
- Research and identify new business opportunities across relevant local and regional markets.
- Support pipeline development by gathering prospect information, preparing contact packs and tracking progress against agreed actions.
- Assist with the execution of commercial plans, customer launches, range reviews and promotional activity.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support customer meetings, range development and commercial planning.
- Monitor pricing, product ranges, promotions and food-to-go trends, summarising findings in a clear and practical format.
- Provide insight that helps the business understand customer needs, market opportunities and potential risks.
- Prepare accurate sales reports, commercial updates, meeting notes and action trackers for the Commercial team.
- Work closely with NPD, Operations, Technical, Finance and Supply Chain teams to support smooth project delivery and customer service.
- Follow up internal actions to ensure customer commitments and agreed commercial deadlines are met.
- Maintain a high standard of organisation, accuracy and confidentiality in all commercial documentation.

- Previous experience in a commercial, sales support, account management, business development or customer-facing role.
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, chilled food, foodservice or retail sectors.
- Experience preparing customer proposals, tenders, quotations or commercial presentations.
- Understanding of sales reporting, pricing, promotions, margin or commercial analysis.
- Experience using CRM systems, customer portals or shared project trackers.
