Role and Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack steel or steel related material
- Maintain inventory controls by storing stock away in the relevant location
- Prepare customer orders by processing delivery ticket requests, pulling materials, banding and labelling consignments
- Correctly complete delivery tickets and return to the ticket holding area
- Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported to the warehouse supervisor or the Depot Manager
- Complete all daily vehicle inspection and record defects
- ensure all products are loaded on the vehicle in a safe manner, strapped and secured adequately
- Ensure PPE is always worn in the warehouse
- Maintain equipment by performing 'Before Use Checks' and reporting any faults via management or to the maintenance team
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping all racking and floor areas free from waste
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing other tasks as specified by your line manager
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good safety practices and driving habits
- Full C or CE license
- Digital Tacho Card
- DCPC
- A good understanding of Drivers hours and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail

- You must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- You must not exceed a maximum of 3 points on your driving license
- Monday to Friday
- 8am - 4.30pm (40 hours)
Pay: From £14.88 per hour
