JMP Foodservice is a well established, family run buisness supplying quality food products to our valued customers. We are looking for a reliable and motivated van driver to join our friendly team.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, to deliver goods to clients and customers.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise time and fuel efficiency.
- Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role.
- Valid UK driver’s licence .
- Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, demonstrating physical fitness and stamina.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Organised with the ability to follow schedules accurately and manage time efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.90-£13.60 per hour
