Due to continued success, we are seeking a reliable and hardworking Road Sweeper Operator to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Operate road sweeping vehicles efficiently to clean streets, pavements, and other public areas in accordance with scheduled routes.
- Conduct routine inspections of the equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, maintaining a safe environment for yourself and the public.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and presentable at all times.
Experience
- Experience operating large vehicles safely on public roads is required. Training operating a Road Sweeper can be given to the right candidate.
- Must have a valid Category C driving licence.
- This role requires a dedicated professional with a focus on safety, efficiency, and environmental standards. The successful candidate will be organised, punctual, a team player with a 'Can Do' attitude and capable of working independently while adhering to strict operational guidelines.
This is a full time position
Expected Hours - 50 hours a week
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
