Pharmacy - Retail Team Member
We are looking for friendly enthusiastic retail-minded person to join our team in our increasingly busy independent pharmacy located in Paignton.
We are looking for someone to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, the current work pattern would as follows;
Pharmacy - Goodrington/Churston Area
- Wednesday and Thursday - 09:00-13:00 - 13:30-17:30 (30 minute unpaid lunch break)
- Saturday 09:00-12:00
We are also looking for that person to be flexible to help cover holidays and sickness which would be paid as overtime.
Pharmacy and/or retail experience is preferred, but training will be given to the right person.
Duties:
- Display a confident and friendly manner at all times, while maintaining confidentiality, with both customers and work colleagues.
- Providing high quality pharmacy services to our customers.
- Receiving and handing out prescriptions.
- Selling medicines (referring to the pharmacist when required) and other shop items
- Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- To work well as part of a team
- UK Driving License

Onboarding Process:
The successful candidate will be required to complete a minimum 2 weeks of onboarding training and supervision with one of our senior team members. This will happen throughout the first 2 weeks. Once the training/onboarding is complete the successful candidate will continue with their probationary period with the company.
Any shortlisted candidates will be invited for a one hour trial session in the pharmacy to meet the team. All candidates will be expected to dress appropriately for a healthcare work space i.e., smart clothes with sensible shoes. For example, no jeans or sandals.
