Garden Maintenance Operative – Full Time
We are a busy, established garden maintenance business with a large and growing customer base across Orpington, Sevenoaks, South East London and Kent. Due to continued growth and a busy regular maintenance round, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our small team.
This is a full-time, outdoor role where no two days are the same. You'll be working alongside the business owner and, on occasions, one other member of staff, visiting a variety of residential and commercial gardens throughout the day. We work from one scheduled garden to the next, carrying out high-quality garden maintenance for our regular customers.
Typical duties include:
Lawn mowing and lawn care
Strimming and edging
Hedge cutting and trimming
Weeding and border maintenance
Pruning shrubs and small trees
Leaf blowing and garden tidy-ups
Planting and mulching
Clearing green waste and loading/unloading equipment
Keeping tools, vehicles and equipment clean and well maintained
Ensuring every garden is left clean, tidy and to a high standard
We welcome applications from people with previous experience in garden maintenance, landscaping, grounds maintenance or similar outdoor work. However, experience isn't essential if you're enthusiastic, willing to learn and have a positive attitude. Full training and support will be provided to the right person.
What we're looking for:
Someone based in or around the Orpington / Bromley area
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Keen to learn and take pride in their work
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Physically fit and able to carry out manual work
Able to work well as part of a small team
A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
Working hours:
Monday to Friday
7:00am – 4:00pm
Overtime available
Pay:
Competitive rate of pay, depending on experience and ability.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
