About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven (Finance Manager – Client Accounts) to join our finance team.
This is a key role responsible for overseeing the full client accounts process, from rent receipts through to payments to portfolio holders. You will manage a team, take ownership of client account audits and ensure that all financial activity is accurate, compliant and delivered within agreed deadlines.
You will play an important role in maintaining strong financial controls, analysing data and identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies across the client accounts function.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to.
- Manage the end-to-end client accounts process, from receipt of rent through to payments to portfolio holders.
- Lead, manage and support a finance team, providing guidance, supervision and mentoring.
- Take overall responsibility for client account audits, ensuring they are well prepared, accurate and completed successfully.
- Prepare, review and analyse financial reports, ensuring accuracy and providing meaningful insight into financial performance.
- Manipulate and interrogate large volumes of financial data, identifying trends, discrepancies and variances.
- Complete and oversee account reconciliations across multiple platforms and systems.
- Maintain strong relationships with contractors, acting as a key point of contact for financial queries and account-related matters.
- Ensure all financial processes are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement across processes, systems and procedures.
- Ensure appropriate financial controls are maintained and that work is completed in line with company procedures and requirements.
- Support colleagues with ad hoc finance tasks and projects when required.
- Provide leadership and direction to the wider team, promoting a collaborative and high-performing working environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who is hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable, with the confidence to take ownership of their responsibilities and make decisions using their own initiative.
You will be an experienced finance professional with a strong background in client accounts and previous experience of managing or leading a team. You will be confident working with large volumes of financial data and comfortable investigating variances and resolving discrepancies.
