About the Role
Hamro Lagani Business and Financial Services is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will work on technical projects, ensuring that engineering solutions meet safety, quality, performance, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation.
- Evaluate mechanical designs and recommend improvements for performance and efficiency.
- Work with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
- Identify mechanical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Support installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning activities where required.
- Ensure engineering work complies with UK health and safety standards and relevant regulations.
- Monitor project progress, costs, materials, and technical requirements.
- Maintain accurate engineering records and prepare technical reports.
- Assist with procurement and evaluation of mechanical equipment and materials.
- Stay up to date with engineering standards, technologies, and best practices.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer or in a related engineering position.
- Degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engineering principles, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Good knowledge of health and safety requirements and engineering standards.
- Experience with CAD or other engineering design software is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
Pay: £34,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
