Unit Manager
Reports to: Home Manager
We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and motivated Unit Manager to lead one of our nursing units, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care, clinical governance and staff leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day clinical operation of the unit, supporting the Home Manager.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, medication management and clinical audits.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, NMC guidelines and company policies.
- Lead, supervise and support nurses, care team leaders and care staff, promoting high-quality, person-centred care.
- Monitor staffing levels, skill mix and daily allocations to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, medication records and resident care plans.
- Work closely with residents, families, GPs and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Promote a safe environment by leading on infection prevention, health & safety, safeguarding and risk management.
- Support staff development through supervision, training, induction and performance management.
- Participate in the on-call rota and deputise for the Home Manager when required.

Rate of Pay - £14 per hour + £1.00 per hour performance bonus
Hours - 33 hours per week
