At Ashbourne Care Home, nights are about calmness, safety, dignity, and reassurance. We are looking for a kind, reliable, and emotionally aware Night Care Assistant to join our dedicated night team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night.

⭐ What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing throughout the night, ensuring they are safe, settled, and comfortable
- Respond promptly and calmly to call bells, requests, or emergencies
- Provide personal care sensitively and respectfully, always protecting dignity and choice
- Follow individualised care plans, delivering person‑centred support tailored to each resident
- Support mobility and repositioning, ensuring comfort and pressure‑relief needs are met
- Maintain accurate night‑time records, documenting observations, incidents, and changes
- Keep the environment safe, clean, and peaceful, supporting a restful night for residents
- Communicate effectively with the night team and handover to day staff to ensure continuity of care

- Good communication skills and a respectful, person‑centred attitude
- Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team
- Basic IT skills for documentation
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential — full training is provided
- A driving licence is beneficial but not required
