Senior Network Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading organisation in a permanent position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Network Engineer with experience across enterprise networking, network security and cloud/hybrid infrastructure.
Sector experience is not essential — we are looking for the right technical skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and support complex enterprise network infrastructure.
- Manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, routing and switching.
- Configure and support firewalls, VPNs, load balancers and network security solutions.
- Provide 3rd line / Level 3 support and resolve complex network incidents.
- Monitor network performance, capacity and availability.
- Support network security, segmentation and Zero Trust initiatives.
- Design and support Azure, AWS and/or OCI cloud connectivity.
- Lead network upgrades, migrations and infrastructure transformation projects.
- Work with vendors, managed service providers and internal IT teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other engineers.
Key Skills & Experience
- Enterprise network engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs.
- Experience supporting highly available enterprise environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with cloud/hybrid-cloud networking.
- Strong understanding of network security.
- Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem and change management.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
Cisco, Juniper, Azure, AWS, OCI, VMware or relevant networking certifications are advantageous.
