Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and waste disposal to ensure premises are hygienic and presentable
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages promptly
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and procedures to meet client requirements
- Ensure all areas are secure after cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or hazards
- Adhere to health and safety policies at all times to promote a safe working environment
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently without supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks within designated timeframes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety procedures is advantageous
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
