We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Optical Assistant to join our team at Braham Opticians on a full time role. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting with various tasks in our optical department.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers in selecting eyewear, frames, and lenses based on their specific needs and preferences.
- Taking accurate measurements, such as pupillary distance, to ensure proper fitting of eyewear- training will be provided
- Explaining lens options, coatings, and other features to customers - training will
- Assisting with frame adjustments and repairs- training will be provided
- Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the optical department.
- Providing exceptional customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an optical assistant or in a similar role is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-oriented approach with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Must be able to work on Saturdays

Pay: £20,800.00-£26,000.00 per year
