Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes
- Support cooking activities under supervision to ensure timely meal service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold health standards
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly during service
- Serve food to guests or staff in a courteous and efficient manner when required
- Follow safety protocols and proper hygiene practices at all times
- Help with dishwashing and waste disposal to keep the kitchen organized and sanitary
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation and basic cooking techniques is advantageous
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting will be beneficial
