We are seeking a dedicated and professional Nightporter to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for our guests. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the premises, assisting guests with their needs, and providing exceptional customer service in line with our hotel's standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first and last impression.
- Assist with luggage handling, including transporting bags to and from guest rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and restrooms.
- Provide information about hotel services and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Ensure that all equipment and supplies are well-organised and readily available for use.
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless guest services.
- Bar service to residents.
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and assisting guests' needs.
