Millenium Site Services UK Ltd is a specialist contractor working across the rail sector, delivering high-quality paint, GRP, glazing, and engineering services to major rail clients. Our Haydock Road site in Derby is one of our core operational hubs, supporting a steady, varied workload across multiple contracts.
We're looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join our paint division on a full-time, permanent basis, working across a broad range of components and coating systems.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Masking and hanging – masking off areas not to be coated and hanging or racking components correctly to allow full, even coverage during spraying
- Priming – applying the correct primer system to prepared surfaces, building the right film build ahead of top coating
- Paint mixing – accurately mixing paints and primers to specification, including two-pack and specialist rail coating systems, working to correct ratios and pot life
- Reading drawings and specifications – working from technical drawings, job cards, and paint specifications to identify correct colours, coating systems, and finish requirements for each job
- Spraying – applying primer and top coats using conventional and HVLP spray equipment to a consistent, high-quality finish across a variety of substrates
- Quality checking – inspecting finished work for coverage, colour match, and finish quality, identifying and correcting any defects, blemishes, or areas needing rework before sign-off
It's a hands-on, varied role within an established team, with the chance to work across a broad mix of jobs and coating systems rather than a single repetitive task.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
Salary: £36,250 per annum
Engagement: PAYE, full-time, permanent
Pay: £16.00-£22.00 per hour
