We are a busy, independent vehicle repair and service garage committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and transparent customer care. We are looking for a dedicated Sales Advisor (Service Advisor) to join our friendly front-of-house team.
The Role
You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, bridging the gap between our workshop mechanics and vehicle owners. Your goal is to deliver exceptional customer service while explaining technical repair needs clearly and converting estimates into authorised work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone.
- Book vehicles into the workshop and manage daily scheduling.
- Translate diagnostic findings from mechanics into clear, customer-friendly explanations.
- Prepare accurate repair quotes, estimates, and invoices.
- Upsell recommended maintenance services and parts without high-pressure tactics.
- Keep customer and vehicle records up to date.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor, automotive parts counter, or customer-facing sales role.
- Basic understanding of car mechanics and vehicle repair processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate and comfortable using booking/garage management systems.
