The role is currently 100% remote at the beginning, giving you full autonomy over your daily environment. However, as our operations expand, there is a clear option and pathway for the right candidate to transition into an office-based and permanent role within our corporate structure.As a startup, your growth potential is completely tied to your performance. The right candidate who proves their ability to smash sales targets and close deals will have the direct opportunity to build, recruit, and lead their own sales team, eventually spearheading our broader expansion across Europe.
You will not be hunting completely in the dark; Ellenox will provide you with a comprehensive, pre-vetted database of UK-based electrical installers, solar contractors, and green energy engineers from day one. However, unlocking this market and converting these leads into revenue requires high energy, absolute focus on performance, and a relentless hunter mindset.
Day-to-Day Activities & Responsibilities
- Execute High-Volume Outbound Outreach: Start each day highly motivated to hit the phones and inbox, actively chasing potential trade clients from our provided installer database via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Qualify & Understand Client Needs: Engage in consultative conversations to uncover an installer's project pipelines, their pain points with existing EV brands, and their specific business needs.
- Offer Tailored Commercial Solutions: Clearly communicate the technical and financial advantages of Ellenox chargers, matching their business model to our wholesale pricing structures to maximize their profit margins.
- Organize Professional Meetings: Efficiently schedule, prepare, and lead phone or video consultations (via Microsoft Teams/Zoom) to demonstrate product specifications and walk installers through trade partnership agreements.
- Negotiate & Close B2B Deals: Act as a confident and persuasive negotiator to overcome price objections, pitch trade discounts, secure initial sample orders, and activate long-term buying accounts.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain absolute accuracy over your lead tracker, ensuring no potential installer is dropped and every single follow-up task is executed exactly on time.
- Daily Reporting: Prepare and submit a brief progress report at the end of every day, detailing key outbound metrics (calls made, connections, and meetings booked).
- Weekly Performance Reporting: Compile and send a comprehensive, full report at the end of each week analyzing overall pipeline health, conversions, active accounts, and market feedback.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Strictly Results-Oriented: A professional who measures their success by the number of deals closed and revenue generated. You must be deeply motivated by hitting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sales targets.
- The "Hunter" Mindset: A proven track record in cold outreach, overcoming initial rejection, and aggressively chasing down new business. This role is not for account farmers or passive order-takers.
- Experience: 1–3 years of proven success in B2B outbound sales, telesales, or partner account management. Experience selling directly to tradespeople, construction, electrical wholesalers, or the solar/renewables sector is a significant advantage.
- Closing Skills: A demonstrated ability to understand a client's needs, handle objections smoothly, act as a strong negotiator, and independently drive a deal from first contact to a finalized close.
- Communication: Exceptional telephone manner, active listening skills, and the ability to build quick rapport with technical contractors over video calls and phone.
- Self-Discipline: High inner drive and time-management skills required to execute structured, high-volume outreach from a remote home office environment.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with basic digital organization tools (Google Sheets, Excel, or lightweight sales trackers) to handle database logging and daily reporting.
- Language: Native or professional-level proficiency in English is mandatory.
