About Cre8ive Printer
Cre8ive Printer is a busy printing and signage company producing banners, vinyl graphics, signs, stickers and other printed products for businesses and individuals.
We are looking for a practical and reliable Print Finishing & Production Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, good organisation and the ability to think outside the box when solving production problems.
Main responsibilities
- Preparing and finishing printed PVC and mesh banners.
- Trimming banners accurately to their finished size.
- Hemming, taping and fitting eyelets to banners.
- Checking customer artwork and setting files ready for print.
- Operating large-format printers and preparing print queues.
- Laminating printed vinyl and other materials.
- Weeding cut vinyl lettering and graphics.
- Applying application tape to finished vinyl graphics.
- Mounting vinyl and printed graphics onto boards, signs and other substrates.
- Trimming stickers, posters and printed materials.
- Packing completed orders safely for collection or delivery.
- Checking finished products for print quality, spelling, sizing and finishing faults.
- Keeping the production area clean, safe and organised.
- Monitoring materials and informing management when stock is running low.
- Assisting with other printing, signage and general workshop duties when required.

- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be confident using measurements and working accurately.
- Be comfortable working with tools, machinery and printed materials.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Be organised and able to manage several jobs at the same time.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Be reliable, punctual and able to meet production deadlines.
- Be a practical problem-solver who can think outside the box.
- Take pride in producing clean, professional-quality work.
- Be comfortable carrying materials and completing practical workshop tasks.
Previous printing, signage, vinyl application, artwork or manufacturing experience would be helpful, but training can be provided to the right person.
Desirable experience
- Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW or similar artwork software.
- Large-format printing and RIP software.
- Vinyl cutting, weeding and application.
- Using a laminator.
- Banner finishing and eyeleting.
- Sign-making or general production work.
