We’re seeking a reliable and detail- oriented Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key player in our operations, you’ll ensure the timely and accurate delivery and collection of laundry across various locations in and around central London. Job Description:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering and collecting laundry from various client locations, ensuring that orders are accurately checked, organized, and timely handled. You will also support central production operations as needed, contributing to a seamless workflow across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-Drop Deliveries: Safely transport laundry to and from customer locations across central London and surrounding areas. Maintain punctuality to support operational schedules and customer expectations.
- Order Verification and Organization: Check deliveries and collections for accuracy, ensuring correct items and quantities. Maintain records to support tracking and inventory management.
- Ad-Hoc Support to Production: Assist the central production team during downtime between deliveries, performing tasks to streamline laundry processes.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as a professional point of contact with clients, providing courteous service and addressing basic queries regarding deliveries or pickups.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks to ensure vehicle cleanliness, operational safety, and compliance with company policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Driving Experience: Previous experience as a multi-drop delivery driver is preferred, with good knowledge of central London routes.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented, with the ability to organize and verify deliveries accurately.
- Team Support: Willingness to support production and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to interact with clients professionally.
- Eligibility: Must have a valid UK driver’s license and the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
