An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate (3–5+ years' PQE) to join the market-leading Commercial Property team of a highly respected national law firm based in Leicester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor looking to work on high-profile, complex commercial property transactions while benefiting from genuine career progression, flexible hybrid working and the support of a collaborative national team.
The Role
Joining a nationally recognised Commercial Real Estate team, you'll advise a broad portfolio of clients across a wide range of commercial property matters while managing your own caseload and supporting larger, high-value transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing sales and acquisitions of commercial property
- Advising on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Acting on secured lending transactions
- Assisting with commercial development projects
- Advising landlords and tenants on a range of leasing matters
- Supporting corporate transactions with commercial property advice
- Portfolio management work for a diverse client base
- Assisting on complex, high-value commercial real estate transactions
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the team
About You
Applications are welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- 3–5+ years' PQE specialising in Commercial Real Estate or Commercial Property
- Strong experience handling a broad range of commercial property matters
- Experience providing commercial property support on corporate transactions
- The ability to independently manage a varied caseload
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive, commercially minded approach
- A collaborative attitude with the ability to mentor and support junior colleagues
