Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ feet, ankles, and lower limbs to diagnose conditions such as infections, deformities, injuries, and chronic diseases.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication, physical therapy, orthotics, or surgical interventions.
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and proper footwear choices to promote long-term well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using IT systems to document assessments, treatments, and follow-up plans.
- Stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine by engaging in continuous professional development and training.
- Communicate clearly with patients and colleagues in English to ensure understanding of diagnoses and treatment options.
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed Podiatrist with a strong background in diagnosing and managing foot and ankle conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and patient management.
- Ability to teach patients about foot health practices clearly and empathetically.
- Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within diverse healthcare settings.
