An exciting opportunity to join our Group Finance team as a Group Costs Finance Business Partner, supporting Group cost areas. This role plays a key part in providing financial leadership, ensuring investment decisions are well-informed, and driving clarity and transparency across cost allocations.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, owning allocation methodologies, and supporting strategic decision-making across Group.
Responsibilities
- Lead Group cost budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
- Provide high-quality reporting and variance analysis, clearly explaining drivers and movements
- Own and develop cost allocation methodologies, including transfer pricing approaches
- Manage and evolve the Group service catalogue and allocation framework
- Build strong partnerships with Group cost centre owners and senior stakeholders
- Present forecasting, reporting and cost insights across Group Finance and wider business areas
- Provide financial challenge on budgets, investment proposals and business cases
- Monitor and track investment spend, benefits realisation and delivery risks
- Support and improve financial controls, processes and governance
- Deliver ad hoc financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business decisions
Essential Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post-qualification experience
- Strong background in finance business partnering, ideally in a Group or complex environment
- Experience with cost allocation processes or transfer pricing methodologies
- Proven ability to lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Experience managing or developing service catalogues or allocation frameworks
- Strong analytical skills, with a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach
- Confident stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership
- Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
- Experience in investment appraisal, financial modelling and business case development
- Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and work collaboratively
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience with Anaplan or similar planning tools
- Exposure to process improvement or transformation initiatives
- Understanding of controls, governance and audit environments
- Experience in tracking benefits realisation and cost optimisation initiatives
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with financial discipline
