Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and personable part time Sales Assistant to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, assisting customers with product selections, and ensuring the smooth operation of the sales floor. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable sales and communication skills within a supportive environment. Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly and provide expert advice on products and services
- Assist customers in locating items and making purchasing decisions
- Process transactions accurately using the till system
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an attractive shopping environment
- Restock shelves and organise stock to ensure availability of products
- Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
- Keep the sales area clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times
- Support promotional activities and participate in stocktaking procedures as required

Experience
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service roles is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends.
