Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our team. Hours will vary each week but will mainly consist of weekends and as holiday cover. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality sector, including catering, serving, and food preparation. Previous restaurant or barista experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A strong commitment to food safety and hospitality standards is essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable upon arrival
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
- Support catering functions and special events when needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Manage cash register operations and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service throughout shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering, or hospitality environment is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- A friendly, professional demeanour with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Experience as a barista or in food preparation is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
