Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director in a dynamic professional environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills and experience with office management tools. Duties
- Manage and maintain the Managing Director’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements efficiently.
- Prepare and organise correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
- Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, screening and directing enquiries as appropriate.
- Assist with data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records and filing systems both digitally and physically.
- Coordinate meetings, including booking venues, preparing agendas, and taking minutes when necessary.
- Support with financial administration using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Organise office supplies and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mail distribution to support daily office functions.
Experience
- Proven administrative experience in a similar role or within office environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with office procedures, clerical tasks, and general office experience preferred.
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute is advantageous. This position requires a motivated individual who is capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanour at all times. The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute positively to organisational success through excellent organisational skills and proactive support to senior management.
Pay: £12.80-£16.00 per hour
