Long-Term In-Home Maths Tutor for Year 10 Student (Morley, LS17)
The Role
We are recruiting a dedicated Maths tutor for a long-term placement starting later this year (once the student has successfully re-engaged with English tuition). This role supports a Year 10 student who is currently unable to access learning in a mainstream school setting due to additional learning needs including autism with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile. This is a long-term position (Year 10 & 11) with the likely potential to continue through the summer holidays to ensure consistency.
Location:
In-home tutoring in Morley, LS17. Schedule: Once established, sessions will be weekly (timing flexible). Commitment: Long-term (Year 10 & 11), 1 hour per week.
About the Student
This position involves supporting a young person who is currently rebuilding his confidence in learning. The initial phase will focus on relationship building. Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: Experience with SEN/PDA is highly desirable, or a strong willingness to train.
- Qualifications: Strong background in Maths tutoring.
- Approach: You understand the need for a low-demand, high-trust approach to re-engage a student with learning.

Pay: £38.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Morley, West Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
