Location: The role will be based at: Woodhouses VC Primary School, ashton Road, Woodhouses, Failsworth, M35 9WL
Salary: £28,598 - £31,.022 (full time full year equivalent)
Actual Salary: £21,127 - £22,918 per annum (Grade 4)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday - Term Time
Working Hours: 32.5 per week term time + 5 days
Contract: Fixed Term (12 months)
Closing Date: Monday 6 July 2026 - 9am.

You will need:

Recent relevant experience of classroom support at primary level

A good understanding of interventions to support children working below age expectations including phonics interventions

A good understanding of children who have social and emotional issues

A positive, calm and supportive nature To be prepared to support personal care.

To have knowledge and understanding of how children develop communication, interaction and language skills

The ability to be flexible and self-motivated

To be able to work well as part of a team

To be able to foster good relationships with parents
