Class 2 Driver – St Albans
Location: St Albans
Pay Rate: £18.20 per hour
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Shift: Day Shift
Start Time: Between 5:00am and 6:00am
We are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to join our team in St Albans on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers, and newly qualified Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply.
The Role
- Class 2 deliveries around the local area and surrounding regions
- A mixture of white goods and printer deliveries, with the majority being white goods
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Early morning starts between 5:00am and 6:00am
- Delivering goods safely and efficiently to customers
- Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly
- Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
- Some manual handling will be involved
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Newly passed drivers welcome
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good customer service skills
- Physically fit due to the nature of the deliveries
- Good knowledge of UK roads
