Pro Bodyworx is a renowned, well established body shop based in Southwell. As well as general day to day repairs we also carry out many bespoke jobs on a wide range of vehicles and items and carry out a fair amount of restorations.
We are looking for someone to join our small, friendly team to compliment the services we offer. We have recently expanded our workshops due to demand and need someone to assist with the workload.
The candidate needs to be trained in panel beating, paint spraying, and be familiar with modern repair techniques as well as restoration techniques including welding.
Panel Beater Requirements
- Technical Skills: Experience in panel beating, panel pulling, and reshaping metal using dollies and hydraulic tools.
- Welding: MIG welding and structural joining techniques.
- Mechanical Knowledge: Capability to safely strip and refit vehicle parts, trims, and ADAS components without damage.
Paint Technician Requirements
- Surface Preparation: Mastery of filling, sanding, masking, and applying primers to various substrates (steel, aluminum, plastics).
- Color Matching & Mixing: Expert ability to mix paints, operate computerized color-matching scales, and blend basecoats/clearcoats.
- Spray Booth Operation: Knowledge of operating spray guns and UV curing lamps.
- Quality Control: Ability to buff, polish, and rectify any paint defects (runs, dust, orange peel) before final delivery.
An enthusiastic approach to time management and getting jobs finished on time is essential.
Wages will be reflected in experience and ability
Work hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Overtime may also be required
Approxiately 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays

Pay: £41,600.00-£52,000.00 per year
