As the Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery. You will lead and support the team, manage workflow, drive business performance, and build strong relationships with patients, staff, and local healthcare providers.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, workflow, and customer service.
- Ensure prescriptions are processed safely, legally, and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
Staff Leadership & HR
- Lead, supervise, and motivate dispensers, technicians, and counter staff.
- Manage recruitment, induction, rotas, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
- Support staff development and act as a positive role model.
Stock & Medicines Management
- Oversee ordering, stock control, expiry management, and returns.
- Ensure safe and secure storage of medicines.
- Manage suppliers and ensure cost‑effective purchasing.
5. Service Delivery & Performance
- Drive performance across NHS and private services.
- Meet KPIs including accuracy, waiting times, and service uptake.
- Work with pharmacists and the pharmacy team to improve service quality.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership and team‑management skills.
- Pharmacy experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly organised with strong time‑management skills.
- Proficient in pharmacy systems and Microsoft applications.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of pharmacy services and sector changes.
- Proactive, motivated, and able to work independently.
- Exceptional customer service and patient‑care focus.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
