Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. Overtime may be required when needed, including evenings, weekends or emergency call-outs.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and hands-on Serviced Apartment Operations Assistant to help with the day-to-day running of approximately 40 serviced accommodations.
This role involves looking after the apartments, supporting guests, helping with check-ins and check-outs, reporting maintenance issues, helping arrange repairs, and making sure the apartments are clean, safe and ready for use.
The successful candidate must be practical, flexible, confident speaking with guests and contractors, and willing to help with different tasks as needed. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, as the role involves travelling between different apartments.
The role is mainly Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, however flexibility is essential. There may be times when overtime is needed due to business requirements, guest issues, maintenance problems, emergencies or on-call situations. The successful candidate must be willing to attend properties outside normal working hours when reasonably required.
This is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate must be willing to get involved practically where needed. This may include tasks such as helping with cleaning, basic painting, moving items, setting up apartments, checking furniture, and supporting with general property upkeep.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Help with the daily running of approximately 40 serviced apartments.
- Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs and general enquiries.
- Make sure apartments are clean, tidy and ready for guests.
- Carry out regular checks of the apartments.
- Report any maintenance, repair or safety issues.
- Help arrange maintenance work and contractor visits when required.
- Liaise with cleaners, maintenance staff, guests and management.
- Respond to guest issues in a polite and professional manner.
- Help manage keys, access codes and check-in instructions.
- Check apartments before and after guest stays.
- Help deal with urgent issues when they arise.
- Attend apartments outside normal working hours where required for emergencies or on-call situations.
- Be willing to assist with hands-on tasks such as cleaning, basic painting, moving items and general property upkeep when needed.
- Keep basic records of maintenance, cleaning and guest issues.
- Support the business with general day-to-day tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in serviced accommodation, hospitality, hotels, property management or a similar role would be helpful, but training can be provided.
- Experience dealing with guests, cleaners, contractors or maintenance issues would be beneficial.
- Basic experience with cleaning, painting, maintenance or property upkeep would be useful.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will be helping to make sure the apartments are running smoothly, guests are supported, and any issues are dealt with quickly and professionally.
This position would suit someone who is hands-on, reliable, organised, flexible and comfortable travelling between different apartment locations.
Pay: £24,500.00-£32,500.00 per year
