Job Overview
Keep Mobile Community Transport CIO is seeking a reliable and friendly Minibus Driver to support our vital community transport services on 2 to 3 days a week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday), helping older and disabled passengers get out and about safely. This role requires a D1 driving licence and excellent communication skills and a caring nature.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a minibus on scheduled community routes
- Assist passengers on and off the vehicle as needed
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Maintain accurate journey records and logs
- Communicate politely and professionally with passengers
- Adhere to all road safety and Keep Mobile policies
- Represent the charity positively at all times
Experience
- Previous experience driving minibuses or larger vehicles is preferred
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is an advantage
- Knowledge of the local area (Wokingham, Bracknell, Twyford) is helpful
- Must be comfortable driving independently and managing a route
