In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for IT training across our client’s law firm, helping staff at all levels use the firm’s systems and technology confidently and effectively.
- Primarily based in the Portsmouth office
- Travel to the firm’s other local offices, all roughly 30 minutes from Portsmouth
- Varied role combining 1-to-1, group and digital training

Our client, an established law firm, is looking for an experienced and confident IT Trainer to take ownership of its day-to-day IT training needs.
You’ll deliver training in different formats depending on the individual or team, including new starter inductions, 1-to-1 sessions, group training, remote training and regular floor walking across the firm’s offices.
You’ll also be responsible for developing and administering the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS), creating:
- Training documentation and user guides
- Video guides
- Quizzes, surveys and feedback materials
- Up-to-date resources following system or process changes
You’ll work closely with departmental training contacts and IT Developers, learning new technology before rolling it out to staff and creating training materials ahead of new developments. You’ll also assist with UAT checklists and maintain training records for HR.
You should be a confident, articulate people-person who can adapt your training style to different levels of IT knowledge. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams is important, while experience with case management systems and digital dictation would be useful but isn’t essential.
