Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve bartending duties, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards to enhance the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks, in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, communicating any shortages to management promptly.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations and customer service standards as needed.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service and helping guests enjoy their experience.
- Knowledge of various beverages, cocktails, and bar equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
