Full-Time Registered Manager – Supported Living
High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire | £42,000–£45,000 per annum | Permanent | 40 hours per week | Contractual on-call requirement | Suitable local accommodation included
Lovely Rose Care Services Ltd is seeking an experienced, values-led Registered Manager to provide visible full-time leadership across its supported-living services in High Wycombe.
About Lovely Rose Care Services
Lovely Rose Care Services is a caring, community-focused provider supporting people with physical and sensory disabilities, learning disabilities and age-related needs. Through supported living, domiciliary care, independent-living support, shared housing and personal care, we help each person live safely and confidently while retaining dignity, choice and control over everyday life.
Our purpose goes far beyond meeting practical care needs. We are passionate about helping people feel valued, listened to, included and fully supported within their own community. We want every person to experience a genuine sense of belonging: to feel part of a dependable extended family whose members know them, respect them, celebrate their achievements and care deeply about their wellbeing.
We hold ourselves to exceptionally high standards of care. Support is personalised around each individual's strengths, preferences, ambitions and goals, and is delivered with kindness, patience, honesty, respect and compassion. By nurturing independence, confidence, friendship and meaningful community connection, LRCS aims to improve not only individual lives but the wider community around every person we support.
This is an opportunity to play a central role in a planned leadership and workforce restructure. You will protect and strengthen this values-led culture while leading the day-to-day regulated service, quality, governance and transition toward a stable locally recruited workforce.
What you will lead
● CQC compliance, governance and continuous improvement across the service.
● Safe staffing, workforce transition, induction, competency and staff development.
● Person-centred care planning, risk management, safeguarding and medicines governance.
● Team leaders and care staff through visible leadership, supervision and performance management.
● Audits, improvement plans and constructive relationships with commissioners, professionals, families and advocates.
● Management on-call and emergency escalation arrangements, supported by the Managing Director as secondary on-call.
● Monthly compliance, governance, operational and end-of-month reporting to the Managing Director.
● Internal audits, corrective-action tracking and evidence-based service improvement.
● Delegated budgets, expenditure monitoring, purchasing, stock control and operational resources.
● Property and equipment maintenance, contractor coordination, repair tracking and statutory servicing across all service locations.
What we are looking for
● Current or previous CQC Registered Manager experience, or strong evidence of immediate readiness to register.
● Substantial adult social-care management experience, ideally in supported living, learning disabilities, autism or complex needs.
● Level 5 leadership and management qualification, equivalent qualification or demonstrably equivalent experience.
● Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act, safer recruitment, medicines and quality assurance.
● A calm, accountable leader who can improve systems while keeping people and continuity of care at the centre of every decision.
● Existing unrestricted UK right to work; sponsorship is not available for this role.
● Agreement to participate in the on-call rota, work unsociable hours when necessary and provide emergency team cover where continuity of safe care requires it.
What LRCS offers
● Salary of £42,000–£45,000, depending on experience.
● Suitable local accommodation included as part of the employment package.
● A permanent senior role with direct access to the Managing Director.
● Independent CQC and regulatory consultancy support and twice-yearly external compliance audits.
● The opportunity to shape workforce development, internal training, governance and the future direction of the service.
