Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Female Football Coach to inspire and develop young female footballers through organised training camps (once per month), regular fixtures and International Tournaments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for football and experience in coaching or teaching. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of female sports participation and as a coach open opportunities to be involved in a fast growing Representative Football Programme. This role opens the opportunity to coach abroad in Tournaments such as the IberCup (Portugal, USA and Brazil) and Gothia Cup (Sweden) coaching skills in a supportive. The position is paid hourly for training camps, small group sessions, fixtures and showcase events. The role is suitable for individuals looking for experience in coaching would like the opportunity to Travel abroad through football.
Duties
- Plan, organise, and deliver training sessions tailored to high grassroots / JPL level of players
- Develop customised coaching programmes that promote technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical fitness
- Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages confidence and creativity on the pitch
- Provide constructive feedback to players to support their development and motivation
- Promote safety during all activities, ensuring adherence to relevant health and safety guidelines
- Act as a role model by demonstrating professionalism, respect, and enthusiasm for the sport
Skills
- Proven experience within football
- A qualification within coaching. eg UEFA C / B License.
- Communicate effectively with young athletes
- Excellent organisational skills to plan engaging training sessions and manage team logistics
- Ability to motivate and inspire female players of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Knowledge of current football techniques, rules, and best practices in youth coaching
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that promotes equality and respect within the team
