Equipment Required: You must have your own computer equipment. Access to WordPress, Premiere Pro, Synthesia will be provided by us.
About the role
We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Digital Content & WordPress Assistant to join our team for an initial 6 week paid contract.
This is an ideal opportunity for a student, recent graduate or junior professional looking to gain practical experience in video content creation, creating training materials using Synthesia and Premiere Pro and WordPress website page creation.
You will work closely with our team to create engaging digital content based around online training. The role will suit someone who enjoys working across both creative content and digital technology.
About the company
Drive Ferris is a vehicle logistics company that arranges and carries out the transportation and delivery of vehicles across the UK.
We are improving our online training materials and are looking for someone who can help us create more engaging video content using Synthesia and Premiere Pro and then design engaging training pages using Wordpress.
Key responsibilitiesVideo and content creation
- Create and edit short-form video content for our online training platform using AI video generation in Synthesia
- Create content featuring vehicle deliveries, inspections, customer experiences, the team and the day-to-day operations of the business
- Add captions, music, graphics and other elements to videos where appropriate
- Help develop ideas for new video content
- Organise and maintain video and image files using Google workspace
- Repurpose existing content for different platforms (depending on time-contraints)
WordPress and website content
- Upload and format new content on our WordPress website
- Update existing website pages
- Add images, videos and other media
- Help improve the presentation and organisation of website training content
- Make basic content and formatting improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve the website experience for users
About you
We are looking for someone who is creative, practical and keen to learn.
You do not need to be an expert in every area. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a good foundation in either video content creation or WordPress and are enthusiastic about developing skills in both areas.
You may be a good fit if you have:
- Experience creating or editing video content
- Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experience using WordPress, either professionally, academically or through personal projects
- An interest in social media and digital content
- Good attention to detail
- A creative approach to online training materials
- The ability to work independently and manage tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A willingness to learn and take initiative
