Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and talented Nail Technician to join our vibrant team in our busy town centre salon! We receive around 90% repeat business and have been established 26 years. We have recently updraged our pedicure chairs and we are also in the proocess of modernizing our salon.
We are looking for 2 new technicians; ideally Thursday to Saturday although full time can be discussed. These are positions for experienced staff only who can work quickly to a high standard. In the longer term we would be looking to do this on a desk rental basis.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services:
- Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, Builder Gel and nail art with precision and creativity
- Photgraph your work for our website and social media.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail services or enhancements
- Manage appointment scheduling at the front desk, ensuring smooth flow of client flow and timely service delivery
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport, addressing client needs, and ensuring satisfaction
- Participate in the cleaning schedule.
- Participate in training to develop your skills.
Skills
- Strong management skills to handle appointments, inventory, and client records efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members clearly and professionally
- Proficiency in social media management to attract new clients and promote ongoing specials or events
- Exceptional customer service abilities to create a positive experience for every guest
- Knowledge of hospitality standards to ensure a welcoming environment for all guests
Expertise in social media such as TIk Tok and instagram would be an advantage.

We can offer a parking permit (no guarantee of a parking space) but there is paid parking very nearby. Wickford rail station is a few minutes walk and there are bus routes nearby. There is also a contributory pension.
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
