Job Summary
You will be an integral and valued member of the team at Mulgrew’s Food Hall who will be responsible for cutting, preparing, packaging and presenting meat products to a high standard and delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications/Skills Required
· 3 year previous work experience within a retail butcher environment is essential;
· Good knife skills with sound working knowledge of butchery principles;
· Good communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with customers;
· Ability to work as part of a team;
· Safe working knowledge of food safety principles as they relate to a retail butchery.
Key Tasks
· Greet and serve customers;
· Assist customers with their purchases by providing relevant product information;
· Receive deliveries and ensure stock rotation;
· Carry out a range of butchery skills to produce meat products to the required specifications while minimising waste;
· Preparation of counter and pre-pack areas;
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Mulgrew’s Food Hall is a family owned convenience store (approximately 6,000 sq. ft) which is based in Carryduff and in partnership with the Henderson Group. The store carries the EUROSPAR brand and includes a deli and butchery.
