We are seeking compassionate and reliable Home Care Bank Staff to provide high-quality support to clients within their own homes. Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans
- Supporting clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
- Preparing and serving meals, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided in line with organisational policies
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Following health and safety guidelines, including infection control procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Driving licence is desirable for supporting clients who require travel assistance or outings
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interaction
- Basic IT skills for updating records and completing documentation electronically are preferred
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
