We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Conference Banqueting Manager to join the team at Radstone Hotel. In this hands-on role, you will lead the Conference Banqueting team in delivering exceptional weddings, conferences, private functions and events, ensuring every occasion runs smoothly and exceeds guest expectations.

- Lead and manage the Conference Banqueting team to deliver exceptional weddings, conferences, private functions and events.
- Oversee the smooth running of events from set-up through to completion, ensuring the highest standards of service.
- Work closely with the wider hotel team to understand and deliver guest requirements.
- Lead by example, providing hands-on support during busy events and ensuring the team maintains a professional and welcoming approach.
- Recruit, train, coach and develop team members to support high standards of performance and service.
- Ensure function rooms, bars and event spaces are prepared and presented to the required standard.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and deal with queries or issues promptly and professionally.
- Support with event planning and ensure all operational details are communicated effectively to the relevant departments.
- Help maximise revenue through effective upselling and ensuring all agreed event requirements are delivered.
- Maintain a positive, professional and collaborative working environment within the team.
- Proven experience in a Conference Banqueting, Events or Hospitality Management role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- A positive, proactive and professional approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
