Legal Secretary (4 days/week)
Salary: £22,500–£25,000 per year
Hours: 9:30am–5:00pm, 4 days a week (day off negotiable), Monday–Friday

Responsibilities:
Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and contracts. Organize and maintain legal files and documents, both physical and electronic. Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys. Assist attorneys in managing calendars and deadlines. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and completeness. File documents with the court system and other relevant agencies. Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and managing correspondence.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years' experience as a Legal Secretary in a law firm, in conveyancing, wills and probate, and litigation. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus. Typing and audio dictation skills. Able to case manage a large workload. Proven experience as a legal secretary in a law firm or similar role in conveyancing and litigation. Proficient in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Discretion when handling confidential information. Strong multitasking abilities.
