Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of signage at multiple locations, ensuring safety, precision, and quality. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and installation instructions to ensure accurate placement.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Ensure all signage is securely mounted and aligned according to specifications.
- Conduct site surveys prior to installation to assess access points, safety hazards, and logistical requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area during and after installations.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress or any issues encountered.
- Must be flexible and willing to work different shift patterns.
Skills
- No signage installation experience required.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, drills, lifts, and other relevant equipment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precise installation work.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy signage materials safely and work at heights if necessary.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and clients effectively.
- A valid driver’s licence is preferred for travel between sites.
- Awareness of health and safety standards relevant to construction or installation work is essential.
