Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Holiday Let Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that holiday rental properties are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, providing guests with a welcoming and comfortable environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in hospitality, hotel cleaning, or janitorial services to utilise their skills in a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Thoroughly clean and prepare holiday rental properties between guest stays, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish toiletries as required.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dust, dirt, and stains.
- Inspect properties for any damages or maintenance issues and report them promptly.
- Manage laundry duties related to bedding, towels, and cleaning cloths.
- Restock cleaning supplies and amenities to ensure readiness for incoming guests.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to check-in and check-out schedules to ensure timely turnovers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel cleaning, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight turnaround times.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work during peak holiday periods and weekends if required.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which involve standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting.
